The +CLine (Plus C Line) has realized miniaturization and long life through application of cold cathode technology, used as a backlight in LCD displays, in new fields thanks to technological innovation. As a result, it increases freedom in design of buildings and other structures because it can be used in locations where lights could not be installed in the past and in locations where maintenance is difficult. Also, unlike LED lighting its light is consistent and radiant heat is kept to roughly 35.6ºC, making it effective for use in lighting for food products.
