Description

The Dell Latitude 2100 is a purpose-built K-12 education system including a rugged notebook PC and full connectivity IT Cart that eliminates many of the frustrations often associated with classroom technology. The cart transports, deploys, stores and charges 24 10-inch notebooks, allowing cable-less use.

Evaluation

"This is a system made up of a notebook PC for educational use and a storage cart. This product both gives us a hint of the future of personal computing and has social significance. A simple, colorful notebook PC made up of shock-resistant materials is finished with design elements appropriate to its purpose. It comes with a shoulder belt and calls to mind images of children having fun learning in extracurricular classes. The sturdy and extremely accessible cart has the potential to change the classroom atmosphere. We would like to pay our respects to the manufacturer who turned this concept into a viable product."
