Description

"This product is a mobile ultrasonic image diagnosis device that is compact and lightweight and offers high resolution and operability. Small and weighing only about 4 kg, it uses image processing technology that has already earned an excellent reputation in medical fields, thus achieving high resolution and viewability equivalent to that of a larger, stationary-type machine. The operating panel is separated into white and black zones (front and back respectively). The front contains large buttons that are frequently used, while other, more complicated functions are placed on the touch panel toward the back, making operation comfortable and intuitive for both doctors and technicians, who have different objectives for using the equipment. It has a glossy round form with a quality pearl coating that puts patients at ease and appeals to the doctor's desire to own the equipment."

Evaluation

This compact, lightweight portable ultrasonic imaging device offers a more practical weight than conventional devices. It was praised for expanding the venues for ultrasonic examination from the examination room to other places. Since medical personnel can carry it around to use it at hospital ward bedsides, in ICUs, in ambulances, during house calls, or home treatment, an area that has seen rapidly increasing needs, we believe that it has a lot of advantages, allowing early detection of ailments and alleviating the patient's mobility burden. The designers have made the device smaller without sacrificing ease of operation, and they have laid out the function buttons in order of frequency of use on a panel that is color-coded black or white. More detailed settings are achieved with touch panels for each mode. The device received positive evaluations for the designers' attempt to achieve intuitive operability.
